Pampering your car is important

There are those folks who are totally into cars, then there are those who are not. Well, it just happens that I fall into the first category. Is it genetic? Maybe!

My Dad happens to have raced Porches in his younger years, not to mention sailboats. His mom, my Granny, happened to be a pretty damned good driver herself, owned a couple of sporty cars along with a motorcycle, along with her fave, the Lincoln Town Car. That thing was tricky to back out of her garage. Yes, I speak from experience.

But I digress …

OMG! She desperately needs some lovin’

As it happens, I drive a little scoot-scoot in the form of a 2005 scion tC. Andyhoos, yes, I need my Adderall, my little scoot-scoot being close to 250k miles, and I thought, hey, let’s get her all cleaned up! You’ve probably seen me around town (meaning Culpeper, Va). over the years.

Over the past couple of years, the TARDIS has seen many gravel roads. She’s been treated like a truck and has also sat, sadly, due to battery issues. Well, it’s that pesky acid-lead battery that led to her just sitting there, with a window cracked just enough to cause problems. Like MOLD & MILDEW. EEEEWWWWWW!!!! As a result, the TARDIS collected some fuzziness inside and out, thus leading to a nose clothespin. Ugh. THE. SMELL. Did I mention I’m allergic to mold and mildew?

Concrobium sprayed EVERYWHERE! The car sat in the Den-Dry bay for several hours with fans. A few days later, more Concrobium and airing out at the office on lovely days.

After all that, I decided it was time to get her detailed. Why not! She’s about to hit 250k and is needing it. It had been a decade since her last deep cleaning, so I began researching detailing places in town.

Small town, easy to find what you need

Well, when you drive past the same place, or in my case, the same van, it sticks in one’s craw. I can recall when that van showed up. Then a name appeared after a bit. Huh. Another entrepreneur, small business. Fast forward a couple of years, and yup, I’m googling Epic Vision. Guess what! They come to you! How convenient is that!

Hemmed and hawed a few days

I messaged about the pricing info, which is nicely competitive. Ok, let’s schedule an appointment. Of course, I left my keys in the truck at the first appointment, and I couldn’t get a hold of hubby. Therefore, we rescheduled for the following week. The weather was iffy, but by Tuesday, it had cleared up. He offered to wait a day if I wanted. I checked the weather and decided, nah, mostly because Wednesday would have been warmer, and I knew JuJu would be there a bit. I didn’t want him to be too uncomfortable in the heat and sun.

I’m glad I reached out to Epic Vision for my car’s detailing needs. Juju is amazing. His attention to detail is impeccable. As dirty as my car was, you can’t even tell it was a truck wanna-be for almost a decade. Husky hair, Virginia road dirt, mud from shoes. Look at that clean carpeting on the driver's side!Even the Coke that went everywhere upon being rear-ended on I66-W a few years ago. Firstly, I was not expecting the headliner to be part of the detailing. Secondly, needless to say, I am ecstatic about discovering this!

Most importantly, she looks so much brighter now. JuJu went over what he did and whatnot. He’s got a terrific sense of humor too! Quite personable, upfront about costs, and busts his hump to get-r-done. My little scoot-scoot smells like a new car!

Epic Vision is amazeballs!

I highly recommend the commend Epic Vision for anyone needing their vehicle detailed. JuJu also offers a maintenance service to keep your vehicle looking great regularly. His full service includes winterizing your vehicle to help stave off rust and yuck. Winter road treatments can be pretty harsh, both to your paint and any steel on the car.

In conclusion, message JuJu at Epic Vision, you will not be disappointed. Above all, neither will your ride!
